At Kopermut, we believe that great adventures shouldn’t come at the cost of the planet. That’s why every product we create is designed with durability, responsibility, and the rhythms of nature in mind.
We are a small brand, born in the Dolomites, and we know that sustainability isn’t about perfection — it’s about intention. About doing what we can, where we are, with care.
♻️ Materials with Purpose
We choose materials that last and leave less behind. Our fabrics and webbing are made from recycled sources (bluesign® and GRS® approved) and selected for their strength in mountain conditions. Hardware is minimal. Packaging is simple and easy to recycle — because performance matters more than presentation.
🧵 Designed for Longevity
Our products are made to be used — hard. We design in small batches and test everything in real mountain environments. If it doesn’t hold up, it doesn’t make the cut. This slow, intentional process ensures that what we offer will serve you and your dog for years, not just seasons.
🏞️ Tested in the Dolomites
Every product starts and ends in the landscape that inspired it — Alta Badia. From rugged trails to quiet forests, our gear is tested here by real dogs, in real conditions. These mountains are our proving ground and our compass, guiding how we design and what we stand for.
We keep things simple. Fewer products. Smarter choices. No unnecessary trends or overproduction — just gear that works, feels good, and holds up. Being small allows us to be thoughtful, and to build with respect for our environment, our community, and the animals we walk beside.

Sustainability is an ongoing journey. We're exploring repair resources, more local sourcing, and ways to extend the life of well-loved gear. We don’t have all the answers, but we’re committed to growing with purpose, step by step.
While Kopermut was born in the Dolomites, our products are ethically made in Asia by trusted manufacturing partners. We work closely with small-scale factories that share our values of safety, fairness, and dignity in the workplace. Each partner is selected for their craftsmanship, transparency, and commitment to doing things the right way — not the fast way. It’s a global collaboration rooted in mutual respect.
